I don’t know what it is about popping fireworks or just watching them that makes me pretty happy. I like to watch those big explosive ones, think they are called canons, in the sky. This fact and I just enjoy spending time with my family but we don’t really get together to pop fireworks anymore. I hope we can go to see some type of New Year’s show after church. I have been looking for a firework show on the leeve but I don’t think they do it for New Years. I see the date for the July 4th show but nothing is mentioned about New Years, man. Hopefully we can find something! I have been trying to hardest to take a good firework picture with my camera but it never comes out right! I’ve been doing some research on different settings that I could use but I haven’t come up with anything. As soon as I get my sites straight I think I am going to make some tutorials for my camera and post them on here. I am going to post how to use different settings of your camera for different things but please bare with me. It wouldn’t be anytime soon though! Have a great New Years and please be safe <3
To let it be known, I have been moving away from the idea of “Christmas” and really celebrating the holiday. It would take too long to go into detail but I do still do the gift exchanging and whatever but that is another story for another day. I do have my own personal beliefs going towards the holiday but I just would rather keep them to myself. Anyway, regardless of what you are doing today just remember to please be safe and I hope everyone has a very Happy Holidays, see you later.
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”
-John 11:25, 26 KJV
Happy Resurrection Day and be BLESSED!
Going to post some photos and another blog soon. Stay tuned.
I am probably over reacting with the whole, “Happy 4th of July” thing but I really like this holiday. It’s really the only time when we can get together with our Grandmother who doesn’t celebrate holidays. This is the only holiday that doesn’t try to tie religion into it. My Grandmother does spend time with us for Easter and also Mother’s day but other than that, she doesn’t celebrate holidays. I will soon in the future go into why she doesn’t celebrate them on later posts so stay tune. Anyway it was really good seeing my Grandmother and other cousins today even though both my mother and I were sick. She is sicker than me and we are both hoarse. Her voice is completely gone though but as for mine, it’s still hanging in there. I am used to my weeks ending on Thursday and the weekend starting now because at Southeastern we have classes Monday to Thursday so our weekend starts Thursday. Anyway! I just wanted to come on here and make a post for the 4th. I didn’t get to go to the levee to watch a firework show but I did get to go to a cookout so I can’t complain! Enjoy this red, white and blue betta fish that I found while searching for an all black betta fish! Isn’t is neat!?
